Reaching Sausalito
There are no airports in Sausalito, but you can reach the city by walking, biking or driving the Golden Gate Bridge; Sausalito is just over the bridge, take the first exit and follow it into town. There are also two ferries that travel from San Francisco to Sausalito – Blue & Gold Fleet and Golden Gate Ferries.

Things to do in Sausalito
One of the most popular things to do in Sausalito is to simply stroll the waterfront. This allows you to get a great view of the town, stores, restaurants, cafes and art studios.
Sausalito celebrates the creative arts with many art studios, including those that feature local artists work, such as Gallery 111, ICB Artists Association, and Studio 33. Sausalito also has an annual Art Festival that has been running for 63 years and is held annually on Labor Day weekend.
Another popular place to stop is Heath Ceramics, an artisan pottery manufacturer that has its roots in Sausalito. The original 1959 factory is still standing in Sausalito and you can take a factory tour to see how clay is made and dinnerware is shaped, glazed, trimmed and fired. In addition to the factory tour, you can also browse the Sausalito Factory Showroom where you can get a great deal on discounted dinnerware.
