Helping the Oakland Elizabeth House Celebrate 30 Years

Are you familiar with the Oakland Elizabeth House? It’s an incredible organization that’s completely dedicated to supporting at-risk women and children. In addition to offering shelter, it provides a safe community where they can find employment resources, support, education, and help. It’s well-known, well-respected, and well-loved here in Oakland.
With all that in mind, you can imagine why we look for any chance we can get to support these incredible folks who are doing such important work. In fact, in 2015 they were the recipients of our Project Color charity painting giveaway, during which we repainted the interior of their facility, and in 2018 we repainted their exterior.
And that brings us to today.
Happy 30 years!
When we heard that preparations were underway for the Oakland Elizabeth’s House 30th anniversary celebration, we were thrilled to offer help. Since they were focusing on a summertime cleanup, we decided to donate time, materials, and painters to refresh some key areas of their facility. As always, it was an absolute pleasure to give back! We’d also like to offer a very special thank-you to Lisa Weyland Design for the invaluable help with color selection and planning.
Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the big day.
