MB Jessee Painting at Historic Oakland
This past week we’ve been working on an incredible project at the beautiful and historic Swan’s Market in Oakland. Built in 1917, Swan’s Market is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is part of an award-winning mixed use/historic preservation project. The original building was painstakingly restored and now includes a vibrant cohousing community, rental units, professional offices, shops, restaurants and the wonderful Museum of Children’s Art (MOCHA). The charming outdoor courtyard is open to the public and you can often find fun events underway there.
We’ve had a fabulous time in the heart of Old Oakland and are currently working on the unique concrete pathways that meander through the Market. A project such as this presents many coordination and scheduling challenges. The dedication to good communication & customer service by the MB Jessee staff has helped pull it off with ease.
