Cabinet Painting in Danville, CA: Project Spotlight!
Do your kitchen cabinets meet your needs overall, but the style isn’t doing it for you anymore?
Are your cabinets in good condition?
Are they worth investing in?
Do you love the idea of a transformation but hate the idea of a full remodel?
If you answered “Yes!” to the above, then cabinet painting might be a perfect fit for you and your home. It’s hands-down one of our most popular painting services, especially since we opened a dedicated cabinet spray shop. It’s one of the only of its kind in the entire Bay Area, allowing us to create beautiful, high-end finishes in a controlled environment.
That means better paint adhesion, smooth surfaces, and factory-like results. As we like to say, cabinet painting is both a science and an art. There’s so much involved in doing it right!
As a case in point, we just finished this cabinet repaint in Danville. Not only does it demonstrate the kind of transformation painting offers, but it’s a perfect example of what’s trending these days in cabinet colors too.
Let’s take a closer look!
Before cabinet painting…
This is definitely a nice kitchen! The layout is fully functional too, boasting plenty of counterspace, storage, and a practical workflow. But the finish is a little dated, worn, and makes the space feel dark, right?
Not for long!
How do you paint kitchen cabinets?
These are the steps we take:
Careful cabinet preparation
We totally contain and mask the workspace, taking care to protect your floor and surrounding surfaces too. We then remove the cabinet doors and drawer faces before taking them back to our shop.
Every surface is meticulously cleaned, sanded, and prepared, including light repairs that might need to be made.
Time to paint the cabinets
The cabinet boxes are painted on-site in your home, and the doors and drawer faces are painted in our spray shop. This keeps the bulk of the work outside your property, while also allowing us to do our finish work in a carefully controlled environment for the best results.
Reassembly
When the painting is done, everything is transported back to your kitchen for final reassembly. We can change hardware too, if you’d like, taking the look to a whole new level.
