Bay Area Painting & Coating
Behind every commercial paint project is a property manager, facilities director, or owner who needs to know the work is handled. Whether you're managing a Class A office tower, a mixed-use development, a retail center, or a corporate campus, you need the work to move on schedule, around your tenants and operations, and with the kind of communication that keeps your project team in sync.
Why Property Teams Choose MB Jessee for Commercial Work
Commercial paint projects can fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the paint. Schedules slip because contractors don't communicate. Tenants complain because crews weren't briefed on building rules. Property managers get pulled into problems they shouldn't have to solve.
The buildings that get repainted well are the ones where the contractor understood the project was about more than surfaces. When you evaluate contractors for commercial work, you're screening for a specific set of capabilities:
Experience with occupied buildings. Tenant coordination, business-hour scheduling, off-hours access, courtesy notifications.
In-house crews, not subcontractors. The people on your property today are the same people on your property next week.
Vendor pre-approval. Comfort working through ProCompliance, VIVE, Yardi vendor lists, and property management approved vendor programs.
Documentation and communication. Daily updates, photo logs, written scopes, and a single dedicated point of contact.
Safety credentials. OSHA training, aerial lift certification, and third-party safety qualification (we are Summit Safety Certified).
Range of surfaces. Interior and exterior, wall coverings, specialty finishes, high-reach elevations, and coordination with adjacent trades.
These aren't differentiators we list because they sound good. They're the operational baseline for working in an occupied Bay Area commercial building, and they're the reason property teams come back to us for repeat work.

Our Process for Commercial Projects
Our process is built around the assumption that your commercial paint project is a coordination job as much as a painting job. Here's how a typical project moves:
1. Walk-through and scoping. We meet you on-site to walk the property, document existing conditions, and understand your operational constraints. This is where we learn tenant schedules, access requirements, adjacent projects, and any property management protocols we'll need to work within.
2. Detailed proposal. You get a written scope that names specific products, surface prep, colors, timing, and any specialty work (wall coverings, high-reach access, carpentry coordination). Not a one-page estimate. A document you can share with your ownership, board, or facilities team.
3. Pre-job coordination. Before crews mobilize, we handle vendor approval documentation, tenant notifications, certificates of insurance, and any property-specific requirements. We assign a dedicated crew manager who becomes your point of contact for the duration of the project.
4. Execution with daily updates. Work begins on the schedule we agreed to. Each day ends with a brief update on what was completed, what's planned for tomorrow, and any conditions that affect timing. No silence, no surprises.
5. Quality verification and closeout. Before we demobilize, we walk the work with you, document completion with photos, and confirm everything meets the specified scope. You get a final closeout package with product data sheets, photo documentation, and warranty information.
