Exterior House Painting in Alameda: Proud Painters at Work!
We love that our painters aren’t just good at what they do, but take tremendous pride in their work. They often snap pictures of their jobs, including before shots, process pics, and after shots that show off that full transformation.
In this case, Crew Leader Alfredo went above and beyond. He loves photography, and it shows!
Let’s take a quick walk through the project together, pointing out the highlights along the way.
Before exterior painting
Pretty Alameda home, but definitely in need of an exterior repaint. An even closer look and you’d find some sections of damaged and rotting wood that called for patching and repair.
Finishing necessary surface prep before painting
We’ve said it time and again, but it’s too important to miss: prep… is… everything. You can apply the best quality paint in the world, but if it doesn’t have a healthy, strong surface to grip onto, your project is doomed.
This photo offers an awesome perspective of the work Alfredo and his team put into this siding, with extensive patching and surface repairs. Since we didn’t have a drastic color transformation, he was able to spot prime over the patched sections as well, building that strong profile and ensuring that the finish coats would be smooth.
Finished! Curb appeal restored
Absolutely beautiful! And not only is the curb appeal restored, but this fresh paint also means that the surfaces are well protected too. Remember: exterior house paint isn’t just a pretty face, but a first line of defense.
