(Part 4) Park Hill Condominiums Project Spotlight: A Restoration Complete
After months of careful planning, coordination, and hands-on restoration, the Park Hill Condominiums project in San Francisco is officially complete.
This final phase marks the close of one of the largest and most historically significant exterior HOA repaint projects MB Jessee Painting has taken on. Nearly a century of architecture, hundreds of original details, and an active residential community, all brought together under a single, carefully executed plan. And, we finished the work in time for the building’s centennial celebration. Mission accomplished!
Looking Back at the Full Scope
From the beginning, this project involved a whole lot more than a standard repaint. Park Hill’s buildings date back 100 years, and preserving that character while protecting the structures for decades to come was always the priority.
Over the course of the project, our team completed:
Restoration and repainting across multiple historic buildings
Careful preparation and coating of 750+ original wood windows
A full SIKA waterproofing system to protect against long-term moisture intrusion
Custom color matching to respect the property’s original palette
A section-by-section workflow designed to minimize disruption for residents
Every phase was also approached with the understanding that this wasn’t just a job site; it was home for hundreds of residents.
From Scaffolding to the Final Reveal
If you’ve been following along, you may remember our first video, which captured the early days of the project: scaffolding going up, extensive prep work underway, and the sheer scale of what lay ahead.
That behind-the-scenes look told one part of the story.
Now, with the scaffolding down and the final coats in place, the finished video and photography show the transformation in full. This is the moment where all the planning, coordination, and detail work come together.
