San Francisco House Painters

Everyone wants to receive good value for the money they spend, and San Francisco homeowners are wise make sure that when they invest in repainting their homes, they are getting a good return for their investment. To find out whether a product or service is worth its cost, you need to examine what you are paying for, and evaluate what you are receiving in return.

What are you paying for?

Premium Materials
When you hire a house painting contractor, the cost of materials consumes a significant portion of what you pay. A reputable San Francisco painting company will use only the highest quality materials to ensure that your painting investment endures and shines for many years. In addition to the paint itself, there is sanding equipment, patching compounds, caulk, tape, drop cloths, primers, brushes, rollers, and sprayers. To achieve superior results and a professional finish, using bargain materials is not an option.

Reliable, Professional Employees
Any service business needs quality employees to be truly successful, and San Francisco painting contractors are no exception. To train and retain excellent painters, a house painting company must invest in its employees, treating them well and compensating them for their dedication and professionalism. This ensures that when you hire MB JESSEE, or another premium San Francisco painting contractor, the workers who enter your home will be timely, courteous, detail-oriented, and highly-skilled.

Normal Business Overhead and Profit
Painting contractors need to maintain quality equipment in excellent condition to provide safe and excellent service to their Bay Area clients. In addition, it takes a skilled office staff to keep a company running well so that your project is completed on-time and on-budget. House painting companies must also be fully bonded and insured so that San Francisco homeowners are protected against possible damages. Other business expenses include licensing and certifications, various taxes, worker’s compensation, benefits, and Social Security. Finally, a house painting company must earn a profit to survive, and after all of the costs involved in bringing you superior, lasting paint job, this profit is a small fraction of the total cost.

What are you getting?
Expertise
When you hire a skilled and qualified San Francisco painting contractor, you are getting much more than a coat of paint on your walls. Professional house painters are experts in their field, and bring all of their experience to your project to ensure superior results. A competent house painter will perform meticulous surfaced preparation to guarantee a flawless finish, and can spot potential problems before the work starts, so that the work doesn’t need to be done twice.

Proficiency
Painting contractors have the equipment and capacity to complete large projects efficiently and clean up quickly. They know which brands of materials perform the best, and they are always stocked with the right tool or product to handle unexpected complications in a project. A premium San Francisco painting contractor such as MB JESSEE is able to complete a painting project in less time and with outstanding results, compared to a smaller painting business.

Long-term Value
A wise purchaser knows that short-term savings do not usually add up to long-term value. An excellent painting contractor will use the techniques and materials necessary to make sure that your home is a San Francisco show-piece for years to come. Proper preparation and application will prevent premature paint failure, and premium products will withstand wear, use, and time far beyond the ability of cheaper paints.

Customer Reviews

“The finish on my kitchen cabinets had failed, becoming tacky and grimy around the handles. M B Jessee gave me a reasonable quote, far below some others, and did an outstanding job, striping the original varnish and refinishing with a new lacquer finish. The cabinets look like new. Work was done 1 day faster than estimated. The crew was extremely hard-working, considerate, and neat. Highly recommend M B Jessee.”

“I just wanted to thank you all for doing such a phenomenal job on our recent house painting. We are very happy with the outcome and can't say enough good things about the crew. Everyone working on the project was outstanding and made it a great experience. Thanks to everyone.”

“The entire MB Jessee team is courteous, efficient and professional. From scheduling and estimating to the crew managers and crew, they all did an excellent job on a small (but complicated) two room project in my house. I'm already thinking about getting them scheduled for the next project in the spring.”

— Cari Cheney

“I had my wooden kitchen cabinets painted white. Anabal and Danielle were doing the job. I have nothing but praise for them. They came on time, cleaned up every day, were respective, friendly and helpful. If the rest of Jessee's crew are as great as Anabal and Danielle, this company will go far.”

“Thank you for the support you have given the Women's Cancer Resource Center over the past year!”

— Margo - Director Women's Cancer Resource Center

“In September, MBJessee finished painting two sides of our 3-story condominium building (six owners). We were impressed by the professionalism of the company and every one of its workers, Matt Jessee couldn't have been more helpful in planning the project. His painters were well-trained, easy to communicate with and eager to please. In addition to painting the stucco, they made extensive repairs on windows and frames, which will save us considerable money in the future. They finished earlier than anticipated, with as many as five men working on the job, and the scaffolding came down the next day. All of us were delighted with the results. Now my husband and I are looking forward to having MB Jessee paint our own apartment later this month. Matt and Gustavo (who will be our crew leader again) have explained how they will work to make the painting proceed smoothly while we're living here, and they have been endlessly patient with our protracted decision-making process. If you look at their website, you'll learn that MB Jessee is an exemplary company that takes good care of its workers as well as its customers, and contributes public service projects to the community. All in all, we can't recommend MB Jessee highly enough.”

“My entire experience with MB Jesse was very professional. The crew were very friendly and super accommodating of my ridiculous schedule and geriatric pets in the house. The finished product, which was pretty much my entire house, far exceeds my expectations. Would definitely work with them again!”

— Heather Jordan

“MB Jessee just finished our exterior and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The foreman (Pedro) and lead painter (Ricardo) were incredible to work with: they communicated scheduling clearly, Ricardo was a joy to be around every day, the showed up early every day, were incredibly tidy and did great paint work. The final walkthrough experience was incredible. Pedro pointed out items I missed demonstrating a clear desire to complete another quality project. I highly recommend them. As others have noted they definitely aren't the cheapest but you quickly realize that you're getting what you pay for. The 3-year guarantee is also a nice touch since there are likely touch-up items that will show up after the job is done.”

“M.B. Jessee painted the exterior of my Spanish house over 9 years ago, and they did such an incredible job that they are still getting referrals from me today. The paint is holding up perfectly -- there is absolutely no peeling chipping or any other deterioration. I still remember that my final walk-through list consisted of items written on one side of a 3x5 index card (and I'm REAL picky about my house!) However, when Matt and I did that walk-through over HALF the items were no longer an issue, as his team had noticed them first and they had already been resolved.”

— JoAnn Newcomb

“Just had MB Jessee paint the interior of our house and they did a wonderful job. They tackled some crazy wallpaper as well as painted some very high ceilings and walls. The whole process was quick and they did a great job! We are very pleased. I was also very impressed by the crew. They were very personable, kind and actually took pride in the work they were doing. In one of our conversations with the lead Ricardo, he actually told me he was very proud of how the rooms had turned out. I agree sir! It turned out great and it's not often you hear someone thinking of your home like they would theirs, and putting that level of work and quality into it. That made a huge difference in how I viewed this company. Ricardo, you were fantastic and thank you for the great job, we will be using you again.”
