Exterior Painting at the Claremont Country Club in Oakland, CA
We have a unique skill set here at MB Jessee Painting.
On one hand, we have all the capabilities and credentials to handle any Bay Area commercial painting project. We know how to meet tight deadlines, perform off-hours work, coordinate with other trades, and DELIVER. But we also have extensive experience working in the high-end residential painting sector, giving us the attention to detail and expertise needed to navigate specialized commercial projects. Historic sites like Maclise Drugstore Building, for example, or St. Joseph the Worker Church in Berkeley, are all properties we’ve painted. It’s an honor to be trusted with these significant landmarks.
Today, let’s talk about the Claremont Country Club in Oakland. Well over 100 years old, it’s a first-class club, golf course, and event venue. And those beautiful Tudor arches and soaring lines? They’re immediately recognizable!
It’s been our privilege to paint portions of the interior over the years, but most recently we were asked to paint the exterior.
A closer look at our exterior commercial painting process
Before we share the photos of our work, here’s a quick overview of our process.
Careful planning and coordination. No surprises. Especially with projects of this scope, we need to work closely with your team, developing a clear proposal, schedule, and plan for execution.
Job site prep. If you look closely at the process photos, you’ll see protection in place for the landscaping, plastic laid down to catch debris from surface preparation, and a focus on safety.
Surface prep. Stucco repair, wood repair, spot-priming… All essential parts of creating a healthy foundation for the fresh paint.
A gorgeous property and transformation
The goal here was to refresh and restore.
