Eco-friendly paint can also be a great option for kids' bedrooms. It's virtually odorless, containing low-to-zero levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These low-VOC interior paint products are ideal, especially if they have any susceptibility to allergies. Lastly, chalkboard paint and magnet paint make an incredibly smart choice for kids' rooms. Put a fresh coat of paint in a fun color scheme on three walls, and leave the fourth wall as a dedicated chalkboard, if you will. It's a nice pop of color, but it also gives them a safe, contained space for all their creative expression (that's a nice way to put it, right?). And beyond doodling, it also proves useful for drawing calendars for events, lists of chores, and school project due dates. It's a win from every angle!
